Les Miserables...the movie

I went to go see Les Miserables this afternoon at the movies...I had wanted to see it Christmas day...but because of the gallbladder surgery the day before I did not make it.  I LOVED this movie.  I had a very hard time not singing and humming to every song.  As a child my mom and dad took my sister and I to New York City one Christmas and we saw Les Miserables on the stage and it was fantastic.  I so enjoyed the movied because  I was able to understand and love the story so much more.  To be honest, I remembered bits of it from childhood, but was totally in love with the music.  I highly recommend this movie...and I did have to hum some of the songs...I just could not control myself. 

Another year has bit the dust...

I was not sure that this blog was still available to post on.  So I guess this is a test!  So much has gone on in my life the past year that I am thinking I just need to start over from today and go forward.  I have looked in the past for too long...time to move on completely.  Please check back another day for a post that has more substance to it...

NBA BABY!

On Friday night I had the chance to go to an Indiana Pacers basketball game with some work people. I have never been to a NBA game before...all very exciting! While I was there, I met a nice young man sitting behind me and we are going to a Colt's game on Thursday night! So looking forward to that! In the past few months I have been to two Cubs games, NBA and soon NFL! I am kind of liking this city stuff! Oh...I will fill you in about the date thing!

I am falling behind of keeping up with this blog already! School 75 is going through accredidation this year...just more added work...have a cold sore this week...needless to say I am just a bit stressed...but I am starting to realize that one can be happy again after sadness!

Short post tonight...I am already slacking on my daily pictures. I am just trying to keep my head avobe water. Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day! I enjoyed being with my family!

New beginnings

Today starts the day that I start another new chapter in my life. This blog will contain a picture a day in my journeys around a new city, a new job...and anything else that crosses my path. Here are a few pictures of the past few weeks. I have moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where I have taken a job teaching 3, 4,and 5 year olds in a Head Start school. I know there is a reason I am there, also in Indianapolis, and also in the church that I attend. Not sure of that reason yet...but this is all a process that I am putting my best foot forward. Join me as I share my daily goings on with you...
